Our sustainability promise

"Sustainability sits at the heart of what we do. This is why we only work with luxury fabrics that are ethically produced and manufactured to the highest environmental standards."

Why we love linen

Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant and is strong, naturally moth resistant and biodegradable. It also absorbs moisture without holding bacteria, making it the perfect choice for children's soft furnishings, cushions and gifts. In fact, it is stronger wet than dry, and becomes softer and more pliable the more it's washed. It just gets better and better!

Crafted with conscience

Our recycled linens are manufactured from 100% pre-consumed fibres which are either waste-fibres from the textile industry or short fibre blends sourced directly from linen mills. Our fabrics are verified under the Global Recycled Standard; a global initiative to eliminate the environmental damage caused by fabric manufacturing. We also use GOTS certified organic muslins, natural feather and British wool cushion inners, and the features on our gift sets, such as our apron pockets, are made from recycled cotton.

Plastic free pledge

One of our founding visions was to eliminate plastics from our packaging and production process. It's been an enjoyable challenge and one that was important to us (more so to the planet). It might mean we pay a little more for our recycled packaging and sustainably forested paper, and have to search longer to find suppliers who match our rigorous standards (and we don't get it right every time), but we'll keep fighting, one plastic bag and tag at a time.
